ANNUAL REPORT OF SUMERSINGH PUBLIC SCHOOL,PALI,FARIDABAD
The school started its journey in the year 2004 with the motto to “spread the knowledge to one and all. Today the school has proved to be one of the prestigious & renowned institutions in Faridabad.
We proudly place before you the achievement of our students of Std. X & XII who appeared for the board examination, passed with flying colours were Kumkum Kumari, Mayank Bhadana, Nidhi, Siya in 10th and Kashish, Bhumika, Mansi, Urwashi in 12th under the guidance of Mr. Mahender Singh Gurania and his remarkable efforts in advancing and fostering the all round development of students as the principal of this prestigious institution.
The Benediction Ceremony was held to bless the school team who participated in the Inter- District Volleyball Championship, organized by Rawal Educational Society. Here our School made an indelible mark on the inter sports arena with its exceptional performance under the guidance of our sports coach Mr. Sandeep Hudda.
The school visited ‘Surajkund Trade Fair’ and students participated in ‘Rangoli Competition’.
In order to facilitate the students with the competitive spirit, the school organizes various inter-house activities to make students aware with every face of life and equip them with the knowledge and skills to become a global citizen.
Prachi, Mansi, Chahat and Vanshika Bhadana of class 6th, 7th, 8th, and 12th participated in VEER GATHA 4.0 initative of government of India to commemorate the bravery of armed forces of India and collected their certificates by the ministery of defence and ministery of education.
The school organized a number of Inter House Competitions throughout the year pertaining to Salad Making Competition, English Poem Recitation Competition, Radio Jockey, English Solo Singing Competition, Hindi Poem Recitation Competition, Hindi Doha Gyan Competition, Hindi And English Calligraphy, Best Holiday Home Work, etc. to encourage team spirit & understanding of culture among students.
The School also celebrated Ganesh Chathurthi, Onam, Teej, Basant Panchami, Diwali, Kargil Vijay Diwas Guruparv etc.in the school premises amidst much fan fare involving staff and management of the school.
And to mark the spirit of patriotism, the school celebrated 78th Independence Day on 13th August, 2024 with great pomp and splendor.
The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, a key initiative under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, was celebrated nationwide from 13th to 15th August 2024.
11th March, 2024 was observed as ‘Foundation and Charity Day’.
The tree planting festival ‘Van Mahotsav’ was observed on 6TH July 2024. The students took a pledge to keep the environment ‘CLEAN AND GREEN’.
The school celebrated International Yoga Day on June 21 to celebrate the physical and spiritual prowess that yoga has brought to the world. Our best performers were Kush of 3rd,Lakshit & Manvi of 4th, and Vanish & Happy of 5th classs, and with our aim to nurture children’s creativity, Fancy Dress Competition was organized on 9th November 2024, for the students of classes Nursery to II in its premises.
Teacher’s Day programme was followed by the felicitation of teachers for their outstanding performance indifferent fields for the session 2024-2025. Ms. Pushpa Arora, Mrs. Shashi, Ms Ruchi, Ms. Nilanjana and Mr. Pankaj and Indal Kumar were honoured with the “Best Teacher” award from the senior, middle and junior wing and sub junior wing respectively.
An Inter-House Competition ‘Best Out of Waste’ for the students of classes VI to VIII and ‘Science Exhibition’ for classes IX to XII was organized on May 17, 2024, and a disaster management mock drill was conducted on 2nd May, 2024 to ensure the safety and security of the students and staff members.
From time to time, the school also conducts various workshops and seminars to up date the teachers and students about the latest trends in education.
